Automatic display detection

BoltCheck may read browser-provided display information such as screen dimensions, pixel ratio, touch capability, and zoom scale to choose a better on-screen size estimate. This processing happens in your browser and is not sent to a BoltCheck account or profile.

Calibration data

If you choose to calibrate the screen, BoltCheck stores the resulting display scale in your browser using local storage. It is used so you do not have to calibrate every visit. This value stays on your device unless future versions explicitly state otherwise.

Fastener measurements

The tool does not ask you to upload photos or send physical measurements to a server. The comparison guides are generated in your browser.

Analytics and advertising

This development version does not include advertising code. Before analytics or advertising are enabled in a public release, this policy should be updated to describe the services used, cookies or similar technologies, and any consent choices required by applicable law.

Accuracy

BoltCheck is an identification aid, not a precision metrology instrument. For safety-critical, engineering, manufacturing, or compatibility decisions, verify dimensions using suitable physical measuring equipment and the relevant manufacturer or standard.
